Words from Madam President

 

First, I would like to say welcome and thank you for visiting Professional Realtist of Southern Colorado’s website. I am personally humbled and grateful to serve as the Local Chapter President for the 2025-2026 year. Colorado Springs is extraordinary in many aspects: geographically, demographically, financially and historically. Today, we have the tremendous opportunity to positively impact thousands of lives through our quest to increase Black Wealth and Black homeownership.

Our primary focus is “DEMOCRACY IN HOUSING” and by doing so , we advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in home ownership. It is our goal to narrow the wealth gap through homeownership . In order to accomplish this, we interface with our legislators keeping them informed about homeownership disparities. We actively lobby legislatures to create policies to eliminate those disparities. We also interface with our communities across the country to educate them on the importance of building black wealth. We work to provide the tools and information needed to help community members achieve homeownership . It is through our staunch commitment to financial education that we help the underrepresented achieve the goal of homeownerhip .We believe it is paramount that we shift the mindset toward owning versus renting. We invite all to join us as we change the narrative by closing the wealth gap. Together it is possible. Starting today. It shall happen.
